Spontex Queen of Clean Awards Terms & Conditions

1. These Terms and Conditions shall apply to the Spontex Queen of Clean Award promotion that will run on www.spontex.co.uk. The promoter does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the www.spontex.co.uk website. Numerous factors outside of the control of the promoter may interfere with the operation of the website.
2. This promotion is open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents only excluding employees and representatives of Mapa Spontex UK Ltd or any affiliates or subsidiary companies, their agents or families, or any other party professionally involved with this promotion. 
3. Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of their participation in the Promotion. Participants can only participate in the country where they live. Providing invalid details will result in disqualification. 
4. The promotion shall commence on 8th March, 2010 and shall run until midnight on 30th April 2010. The winner will be notified by the 5th May 2010.
5. Participants should agree to comply with the Terms & Conditions that apply for this promotion, by checking the Opt-in box in the submission screen.
6. Disqualification of any entry is subject to the discretion of Mapa Spontex UK Ltd
7. At its own discretion Mapa Spontex UK Ltd will have the right to refuse, not upload or remove uploaded content, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding such decisions.
8. Mapa Spontex UK Ltd reserves the right to exclude submissions that it believes to be fraudulent.
9. Once a participant has submitted material, including valid details, he/she will have a chance to win the promotion. Entrants must not enter or use the website on behalf of another individual without that individual’s express permission. Online only one entry per person will be accepted.
10. All submitted material may be edited by Mapa Spontex UK Ltd for PR and Marketing purposes.
11. It is a condition of entry that winners will grant the promoter an exclusive right for Mapa Spontex UK Ltd to use their entries for any or all marketing purposes for a period of three years from the submission of their entries, without reward or recompense other than the award of the prize.
12. By entering into the competition, Participants may be required and must agree to take part in PR activity relating to the promotion.
13. The winner of the Spontex Queen of Clean Award will win: a meet and swap tips with the UK’s very own Queen of Clean, Aggie Mackenzie and receive a years supply of cleaning products as well as a holiday for two people to Geneva, Switzerland. This consists of the following; Return economy flights from London including airport taxes & surcharges; 4 nights 4* hotel accommodation in a twin/double room; Breakfast and dinner daily and spa treatment at the Clarins Day Spa. Prize can be taken up until 30th June 2011 but not during the following dates; 17th July – 19th August 2010, 17th December 2010 – 1st January 2011 and 8th April – 25th April 2011. All other dates are subject to availability.
14. The winner is liable for their own insurance. Transfers to and from the airport in London are not included in the prize.
15. No cash alternative or other alternative prize is available.
16. All entries will be judged based on the written description of why you feel you or your nominated entry could be the Queen of Clean. The judging panel will include one person independent of the promoter
17. The winner and runners-up will be notified in writing within 28 days of the competition closing date. In the unlikely event that any winner is not able to be contacted within a further 28 days, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and award that prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
18. Participants warrant that when submitting material no intellectual, property or other right of any third party will be infringed.  Participants shall hold Mapa Spontex UK Ltd free and harmless from any claims, costs, actions, suits and/or damages resulting from infringement or alleged infringement of any right of any third party arising out of the submission of material and/or the use thereof.
19. Mapa Spontex UK Ltd reserves the right to request written proof of residency and confirmation that the winner is at least 18 before the prize is dispatched.
20. The address details submitted by the winner are deemed to have been submitted by the authorised user of the e-mail address. Mapa Spontex UK Ltd will store the provided information.
21. Mapa Spontex UK Ltd is not responsible for network, computer hardware or software jamming or outages of any nature which restrict, slow down or cause the loss of the participant's form or other data.
22. The names and counties of the winner and details of their winning entry will be available by sending an SAE to Mapa Spontex UK Ltd. These will be available from 30th June 2010 until (to be at least 3 months from competition closing date).

24. The promoter’s decision will be final in all matters relating to this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
25. The promoter retains the right to alter the present terms of entry in the interests of the entrant, with no less than 14 days notice, to be posted on the website.
